Mathletics (website - login)

 

Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2)

Pupils will have work set via Google Classroom and Mathletics on a Friday and should be submitted/completed by the following Wednesday. In addition the children are expected to read regularly at home. We give every child a reading diary which should travel to and from school. In this diary we ask pupils to keep a log of books read in and out of school. There will also be spellings and Race 4 Recall materials sent home to learn. 

 

Fifteen minutes daily reading (at least five times per week)
Learning spellings and Race 4 Recall number facts
One activity/task selected from Literacy or Numeracy (Google Classroom)

Please speak to your child’s class teacher if you have any questions about our Home Learning  arrangements. Generally, home learning each week will be:

  • Years 3 and 4
     Twenty minutes daily reading (at least five times per week)
     Race 4 Recall/spellings learning

  • Years 5 and 6
     Twenty to thirty minutes daily reading (at least five times per week)
     Race 4 Recall/spellings learning
