Welcome to our Governors’ section.
The governing body at The Richard Whittington Primary School are the strategic decision makers and vision setters who play a vital role in ensuring the best possible education for every child by creating robust accountability for the school’s leaders.
Crucially, that means using and being familiar with objective data on the performance of pupils, teachers and finances to ask the right questions and ensure resources are allocated to school priorities.
The governors work in partnership with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, who are responsible for the day-to-day organisation and management of the school.
Please find below details of how our Governing body is structured, including the names, categories, responsibilities and terms of appointment for each Governor.
